About Me

Hello!

Welcome to my page!

My name is Mary Grace Grabill and I am a graduate student at Northwestern University’s Medill School. I received a Bachelor of the Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications at Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications.

My interest in photography and videography started in grade school and grew in high school, when I was head of photography for the yearbook. Since then, I have found a passion in photography, especially sports photography.

Covering sporting events for the yearbook introduced me to sports journalism, which I pursued in college as a Sports Visual Journalist and a Social Media Specialist for Cronkite News Sports Arizona. I was apart of Inferno Intel, a club at Arizona State where I covered all sporting events within the athletic department.

I have had the opportunity to work several different events, such as the Arizona Tennis Classic ATP Challenger, Fiesta Bowl, Arizona Sports Hall of Fame, WM Phoenix Open, Arizona State University athletics, University of Arizona athletics, Grand Canyon University athletics and Northwestern University athletics. I have had internships with the McGaw YMCA Camp Echo, working as an Operations Specialist, photographer and counselor, and with Phoenix Magazine, working as a photographer.
